AB 1825 Sex Harassment Trainer

A free resource for California employers about the sexual harassment training law (AB 1825).

Another revision of FEHC regulations

Today, the Fair Employment and Housing Commission issued the most recent version of its regulations for AB 1825 (download FEHC regulations 10-02-06).

The most significant revision is that the "training year" is back. So, if supervisors were trained in 2005, they can be retrained anytime in 2007. That should make it easier for employers to comply with the AB1825 regulations.

According to the FEHC site, "The Commission seeks public comment on these regulations until October 20, 2006." Thus, we're likely to have a (final) revision of the regs by the end of the month, which will likely be adopted at the Commission's next meeting on November 14, 2006.
